Starting your therapy journey is a commitment, and understanding the financial aspect is an important first step. At Better Together Therapy, I are dedicated to making high-quality mental health services both accessible and affordable for individuals, couples, and families across Texas (in-person and telehealth) and Colorado (telehealth).
I offer flexible payment solutions, including direct private pay rates for maximum privacy and control, as well as the convenience of utilizing your health insurance benefits. Below, you will find a clear breakdown of my current counseling fees and a list of the major insurance options I proudly accept through partnerships with Headway and Alma.
Private Pay
As an alternative to using insurance, choosing to pay for therapy yourself has a number of benefits.
- You have more options in choosing a therapist
- No formal diagnosis is required
- You can be seen more quickly
- There is no limit to the number of sessions you can attend
Ultimately, you are in control vs. your insurance company.
The following fees reflect self pay rates and do not apply to insurance:
- Initial Intake and Individual Therapy: $150/ 53 min
- Family and Couple Therapy: $175/53-min
Insurance
Therapy can be a financial commitment so, I have partnered with Headway and Alma, a credentialing service, to make therapy more accessible and affordable.
These organizations help me accept insurance, handle billing, and take care of the paperwork, so you can focus on your care instead of the logistics.

Cancellation Policy
I understand that life can throw a curveball from time to time. If you are unable to make a scheduled appointment, I will do my best to accommodate your circumstances by providing an opportunity within the week to reschedule.
If you miss your scheduled appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours advanced notice, it is policy to collect a No Show/Late Cancellation fee. I will waive (1) one No Show/Late Cancellation fee during a six-month period.
