Samantha Serbin, LPC-A
Supervised by Jaime Telfeyan
I am here to help.
My name is Samantha Serbin, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate. As a former teacher, I have experienced firsthand the need for mental health care and general awareness in our educational system to help support students and young adults as they enter adulthood. Wherever you are in life, I aim to help you achieve your goals in the shortest time possible, working at the root of the problem to produce long-lasting change.
As a LPC-A, I have been fortunate to work with different populations in various settings. Along the way, I have been consistently inspired by the resiliency that our youth continue to demonstrate despite the new challenges they face. It has taught me that although all of our stories are different, we are all capable of growth once we learn to look within. The most challenging part is that we must begin to face our problems rather than avoid them; that is where I come in! I am here to support you or your children through this messy yet beautiful experience we call self-discovery. I would love to join you on this journey because everything is better together!
Raised in Arizona, I received my BA in Secondary Education at Arizona State University and snagged myself a husband. After several years of teaching, a baby, three dogs, and a move to Austin, Texas, I decided to switch careers. In 2022, I graduated with my master’s from Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy. I am a dedicated volunteer at Capital Area Counseling, where I continue to help people in underserved communities.
That is my story. What is yours?
